HELPING WOMEN
Founded in 2004, Women Helping Women is an organization of Christian women dedicated to the economic and educational empowerment of at-risk women in the United States and Africa. We do this work by joining with people like you who know and believe we can make a difference in the lives of others.
MISSION & HISTORY.
OUR MISSION: It is the mission of Women Helping Women, Inc. to improve the economic empowerment of at-risk women and girls that will enable them to move from a state of desperation to independence and self-sufficiency.
OUR HISTORY: Women Helping Women, Inc. was incorporated by the state of Georgia on December 2, 2005, and received our 501 (c) 3 status from the Internal Revenue Service on May 6, 2006. Our work began in Africa in 2006 with a series of small entrepreneurial programs, which included sewing classes, cake baking, farming, and embroidery. Fast forward, we served briefly in the Dominican Republic, from 2010-2018 serving underserved women. In 2010 we began our partnership with homeless shelters for women in the Greater Atlanta area. Currently we have a school program and an entrepreneurial program in Africa and support serve six (6) homeless women shelters in Atlanta, GA.

GOALS.
WHAT WE DO: Since 2004, Women Helping Women, Inc. has endeavored to improve the world by providing underserved women at home and abroad with life-changing opportunities for financial growth and educational advancement. In addition, Women Helping Women, Inc. through its donations, interactions, and fundraising activities, has fostered positive and supportive relationships with our partners and the girls and women we serve.
It is the goal of Women Helping Women, Inc. to continue to explore avenues to help women and girls to become financially and spiritually fit to change their lives and the lives of others. We believe that the transition of women and girls will only come through God, education, job training, good health care and mentoring.
